    dreamed in a dream

    dreamed in a dream
    the most terrible things
    the scariest things
    that i've ever seen
    in the deep of my sleep
    the things that i dreamed
    the dark that is seemed
    was trying to kill me


    in the back of my dream
    deep in my sleep
    i knew that the dream
    could not hurt me
    but in all that i seen
    i could'nt just be
    ok with the things
    that i'd seen in my dream


    as i fought in my dream
    to wake from my sleep
    apparent it seemed
    i'd finish the dream
    i'd fight through the things
    the scariest things
    the most terrible things
    that i'd ever seen


    in the midst of my dream
    a thought came to me
    i can die in my sleep
    and i cant fight the things
    the most terrible things
    that i've ever seen
    and the dark that seems
    is able to kill me


    so the most terrible thing
    that could happen to me
    is to die in dream
    deep in my sleep
    where the dark that is seems
    is able to kill me
    and all of the things
    the most terrible things
    that i've ever seen
    are somewhere inside me

    A Very interesting write Dano! Left me waiting for Freddy! I agree with Cas though ... Add a chorus and this could be a song! Great job! ... Ken

    I had a dream last night and woke up and was like WTF, have you ever had a dream where you remembered it? some of them I forget but the ones I do remember have me mystified. I fear what you fear in your dream but when I dream I'm like 50% awake the other in a deep sleep. I think that's what dreams are. I just wrote a poem title "Dreamescape". this is a great poem, sounds like a song though.

    it is supposed to read like a Dr. Suess story, I did not do it on purpose but it kind of came out that way
