Dream Intruder
Floating up
trying to fly away from you
but wherever I land
you're standing right in front of me
You don't want to go anywhere
You don't say anything
It's your image, simply being just to mock my attempts to leave you
In the sky I feel a lot better
but there's no spot in normalcy I can stay without you
In the sky I don't think of you
I wish that I could stay
Just concentrating on not falling into the mountains or the sea
I wonder if from down there you see me
and move swiftly from place to place
because whenever I land, you're right in my face
I wish I could banish you
This is my dream but you stick around
Still don't say a word, not even a sound
There's no use in trying anymore
I'll stay up here until I start to fear the height
I think I can manage for the rest of the night
