    DON'T JUDGE ME

DON’T JUDGE ME BY MY COMPLEXTION

    SIGN OR HAIRDEW

    JUDGE ME BY MY ACTIONS

    AND INDICATIONS OF BEING

    A RESPECTABLE MOTHER, WOMAN AND

    LADY.

DON’T JUDGE ME FOR PAST INCANTATIONS

JUDGE ME BY THE DONATIONS OF

    LIFE THAT I GAVE YOU

    THE THOUGHTS I PUT FORTH

    MY SELFWORTH AND LOVE

FOR REAL IS ALL I KNOW

    DON’T JUDGE ME BY SOMEONE

    ELSES MISTAKES OR IGNORANCE

JUDGE ME BY THE GRACE I GOT

MY BEAUTY TO BE A NURTURER

    A COMPANION OR FRIEND

NEVER THE HOE YOU MET ON MYSPACE

THAT GAVE IT UP BECAUSE THEY KNEW OR

THOUGHT YOU MIGHT SPEND YOUR MONEY

TAKEM TO YOUR HOUSE AND DRINK WINE

FILL UP THEY MINDS AND RUB THEIR BACKSIDES

    DON’T JUDGE ME.

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

    Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
