Demons and Angels

Demons and Angels

Little angel of Hell's desire
Cast your wings and fall you down.
Singed with hate, and full of fire
Cast your powers over the thine town.

Evil's heart within thine power
Seek your lust in it's finest hour.
Little angel, don't turn sour
You're beautiful, don't you cower.

Little demon of Hell's desire
Fight the angel inside and out.
Balls of fury, balls of fire
Sit your anger and fight this spout.

Anger and lust,
Happiness and life,
Calm the heat of the Devil's thrust.

Demons and Angels,
Devils and Life,
Live in Harmony's little knife.

Seek and destroy
Will not work
For thine own hearts are full of will.

For time and luck,
Peace shall conquer.
Your heart shall be mine, so
We'll battle our own demons..
One angel at a time.

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
