I am me

I am me

I am but a vessel in the Divine's own hand
I am but a person observing life's land
I am what I am, and what I am is me.

Me is a person who people think of when they want advice
Me is a place where people come to reside
Me is but a person who lives off nature's couse
Me is what I am and what I am is but Who I am inside.

Who I am is a person observing life taking its course
Who I am is a place where emotions run wild
Who I am is someone who seeks only the truth
Despite what the answer is, a lie is only a lie.

Death, life, and the things in between
are only vessels of you and me.
We are one and all, you and I;
brothers and sisters
vessels of the Divine.

We have the power, you know,
the power to change the world with a poem.
The power to be who we are inside,
For the truth is only the truth mixed with emotions inside.

I am who I am, and who I am is Me.
Me is I, Who I am inside.

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
