Death
Standing beside the window I beckon my new love
Waving desperately for her to come near
As fast as you can come my dear
Hug me with your warmth and cold snare
Engulf me in your arms to make love
I promise I would neither speak nor tussle
Accept you as my loves last hustle
I desperately desire to lie in your arms forever
Eyes closed and lips sealed I will succumb
To willingly welcome, your arms fold
While you softly whisper in my ear
“I am yours now” onwards, forever
With nothing to worry and fear none, anymore
Henceforth, you will now escort me everywhere
With nothing to worry about my beauty or my gear
Seeing you around, in jealousy my old love will cry
Curse me and abuse me that I had left her alone to fry
She had wed me hoping her child I would rear
How could I cheat her to be with you alone?
All sweet words spoken and promises made to her were done
My new life with you it seems had just begun
Seeing all this I am sure my old love will go mad
Knock my chest with her little fists, bad
Lifting me in her two hands she would shake me
To seek my answers while I lay numb and quiet in her hands
She will say “you were mine till now to sway”
Then how I could let strangers plunder and play
With my body whichever way dey wanted
Daring to take me for guaranteed
Hearing me neither responding nor yelling
Will shock and mesmerize my old love
Suddenly she will realize something is amiss
Comprehending fear suddenly she will shudder
With trembling lips softly blubber
“Oh! Kabir” and drop on my chest and cry
Arms around me, loudly she will yell,
“Mom, Kabir my love is forever done”
Leaving me alone he is forever gone?
Without realizing how will I manage?
All by myself, with his memories carnage
