DEAR JESUS
DEAR JESUS
Hello Lord how are you
I'm glad you're here for me
Sometimes when I'm all alone
I need your company
yes, my child I am here
at any time you need
I hear your cry I do reply
I hear your every plea
Am I deaf to what you say
when my sorrows flare
I find myself so hard to love
Dear Lord I doubt your care
Silence child Listen close
you tend to take the lead
I cannot help when you yourself
walk right in front of me
Then my Lord take my hand
so I am at your side
Then we'll walk so we can talk
there's so much to confide
yes my child walk with me
this day I've waited for
I've been here in tears and fears
it's you who shuts the door
OH LORD I'll open up the door
forgive me for my greed
always taking things from you
and thinking I must lead
I need to comprehend your love
it's very hard for me
for as i grow I think for you
I cause pure misery
I am a child deep inside
who craves attention still
Always seeking out approval
I never get my fill
For once my child hear my voice
your hardships are your vice
We're all born weak strengths do peak
believe in me your CHRIST
Not everything will go your way
don't question all you do
learn to lean on other beings
and know my love for you
