    Daydreaming

    Daydreaming of today,

    Daydreaming of tomorrow,

    Wondering what could have been,

    What would have been, had I given it just one chance.

    If I would have stayed,

    Not walked away,

    Crossed my fingers and just prayed.

    Would it have been bliss,

    Everything that could be dreamed of?

    Could it have been a life full of laughter and love?

    Daydreaming of today,

    Daydreaming of tomorrow,

    Wondering about the past.

    Never knowing may be a blessing,

    Then again, its kind of harsh being left unknowing.

    No way to know, left in the blue,

    Wondering just how life may have been.

    Daydreaming, that’s all that I can do,

    Just wondering what could have, would have been
