DADDY OPEN
MY WORLD WAS THREE YEARS OLD AT THE TIME,
WHEN SHE MADE MY LIFE STOPED ON A DIME.
THE FIRST TIME SHE SAID IT WAS A SURPRISE,
"DADDY OPEN" MADE TEARS IN MY EYES.
ON THE PHONE, BEHIDE SOME GLASS;
SWEARING TO MYSELF IT WAS MY LAST.
I WILL BE GOOD AND I WONT SHOW OUT
SO THEY WONT SEND ME TO TIME OUT.WHEN SHE MADE MY LIFE STOPED ON A DIME.
THE FIRST TIME SHE SAID IT WAS A SURPRISE,
"DADDY OPEN" MADE TEARS IN MY EYES.
ON THE PHONE, BEHIDE SOME GLASS;
SWEARING TO MYSELF IT WAS MY LAST.
I WILL BE GOOD AND I WONT SHOW OUT
TO HER AND MYSELF I TOLD A LIE,
I COULDNT WAIT TO GET HIGH.
AS YEARS WENT BY I BEGAIN TO REMEMBER
MY FOOT ON THE DOOR ONLY TO HINDER.
THROUGH THE NIDDLE MY PAIN WAS MEND.
"DADDY OPEN" SHE SAID AGAIN.
I COULDNT LET HER SEE ME LIKE THIS,
SO I PUFFED UP AND LET OUT A HISS.
GO AWAY A I'LL BE OUT IN A MIN,
FORCING WORDS AS MY HEAD WAS SPENDEN.
IN THE DARKNESS, I BEGAIN TO FALL,
BUT GOD MADE SURE THAT I HEARD IT ALL.
ALL HER EGGS WAS IN ONE BASKET,
MY WORLD WAS OUTSIDE MY CASKET.
HER HOPES AND DREAMS CAME TO A STOP
I COULD HAVE WON IF I WOULD HAVE FOUGHT.
THE LAST WORDS I WOULD EVER HEAR SPOKEN,
MY WORLD CRYEN, BEGGING "DADDY OPEN"
