    Poem Commentary

Playing with the cycle of a day

    Cycles

    From a cloud

    To a raindrop

    A gentle dance

    Walking on air

    A rainbow arches

    A drop displaced

    Multi color hue

    That fills a  space

    Descending downward

    Upon a lake

    A smile emerges

    In a sunfilled sky

    Morning has broken

    Shed in new light

    This gentle raindrop

    No longer in flight

    Has found a heartbeat

    And touches soul

    Sweet jack o” lantern

    You shed sweet light

In the autumn of a raindrop

    You bring new life

    Sweet dreams are answered

    Life will go on

    Raindrops have fallen

    Risen in your loving arms

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.

    T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
