    CHASE

    Chase
    The rain—
    Seek the arc
    Of colored light
    Bending its body,
    Signing its reverence
    Above earth, beneath heaven—
Tempting one’s quest to find its end
See the sun-drenched droplets ride the rays
Spanning one sevenfold spectrum of shades.
