    Chance Meeting

I remember the day we first met, there were no bells or no horns.

The next time we met I felt that you were so handsome and kind.

You listened to my sorrows, you were so quite and made me laugh.

It made me believe that I had found myself.

I remember our first kiss, the first time you made love to me.

How important I felt, how lucky could I be, that I had finally me a my soulmate.  You made me feel I was beautiful amd smart, no how could that be?

Always texting and calling, asking to see me.  Knowing I would be right over whenver you need me.

When you caught me line, hook and sinker it felt things had changed
into something so different I was amazed.  Hurting me with a word, forgetting to respect me, the man I remember just got up and left me.

I am neither a bother, a pain in your rear, I just don't understand you
    and why you are hear.

Ahh yes, such a beautifully written chance meeting poem .. beginning with elated passion yet sadly ending amidst confusion. Great! I've a chance meeting poem titled : April .. Till Then .. on my Drivingczar Page pen name here at OP if you've a chance to read. Thank you for your vote per my poem : The Final Decisions .. per week 4 per the survivor contest. This poem is the actual January Poet Of The Month winner though not recognized. SBear ~ Dczar

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

    Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
