    Burning Up

Like a moth to a flame, burnt by the fire

Your true love, I so desire

Caressing you makes me feel complete

The love you give, so genuinely sweet

Thoughts formed into words so deep

Your love has captured my heart to keep

That day when I saw you, and

    You called out my name

I knew from that point on my life

Never again would be the same

When I look in your eyes, I see

The blazing flame of a torch that burns

    From my soul this came

Reality never set for what love could be

Until the day you stood there next to me

The language of your body creates heated flames

Rising higher and throbbing with pain

My womanhood aches for your natural desire

Like a moth to a flame burnt by the fire
