Blood Red Diamonds

Blood red diamonds encircle her throat and wrists. Some hide the scars, some light them. Will they never let her fly free of this loathsome body? To be as she once was- sweet lethal, rising like mist off the gravestones at sunrise. Why has this incarnation chosen this prison? Is there no release? Or must she die slowly as this body molders and decays around her? To be among the mist & darkness, flying free from this prison of the mind as well as the body. To live as she once was- flying fearless, dark and sweet. Free- alive- destined to be!

I loved the RISING LIKE MIST OFF THE GRAVESTONES AT SUNRISE line. Very descriptive as if I was right there, watching her rise. Loved it!

Poetry is what is lost in translation.
