    Blessed Mother

    Oh, Blessed Mother

As pure as the snowflake that falls from the

                                                  Heavens.

Who gave birth to my lord Jesus Christ.

Let my prayers pass through you, to your

                                                   Beloved son.

Who was human, divine, and conceived

                                                   Without sin.

For he knows the love and worship I hold

For him within my mortal shell.

                                                                 I pray to you

                                                   Sinless Virgin, Mother to all

                                               Hear my prayers

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
