    blank

as sit there and stare at the blank page
i wonder what to write about
    should it be
    could it be
that maybe i just ran out of words to say

nah that couldnt possibly be the answer
I've never been at a lose for words
    what else is there
    what more could i say
    what more could i do
am i truly scurred nah couldn't be

More than blank, it should be called 'incomplete'. After you read it, you feel that there is more to come. Something is yet unsaid, waited for. Good poem, I learnt a unique dimension to poetry with this.

Your words speak for themselves, and eloquently. With all due respect to dumplin, there is nothing more subjective (or more unique) then the thoughts of a poet, and the way the poet chooses to express those thoughts are the way their supposed to be! Courageous authorship, Aneesha

There are several spelling and punctuation errors in this poem, but I see a talent here that needs to break out of it's shell. Be careful of errors in your next piece, and try to make it longer. Good luck!

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
