Courage is not the absences of fear,
But the skill to do what is right,
in the presents of it

To be the best of the best,
You must pass the test
You must be better than the rest
I’m just like you most of the time,
Until I take the time, to rhyme

Now I’m learning to just let go,
Just let go to the beat and flow
Just say what on my mind
Not just lock it away,
like you do most the time
Try it, try tapping into your mind
You might be amazed at what you find
There are lots of things that bother me
This is how I set it free

I get on my mic, say these words I write
With all intentions of winning this fight
I use these words as my weapon
Fighting a war, of deception
We are becoming our own enemy
The world sees us, as Nazi Germany
To sort out the truth from the lies
We must not be blinded by the disguise
Things are not always as they appear
Trust your heart, don’t be blinded by fear

Am I a renegade,
because I lead this parade
exposing the charade
I’m well known, here at home,
everyone knows who I am,
Because I speak out against uncle Sam

The moral leprosy
of our current democracy, is scary
Innocent unit proven guilty,
In America, very funny
This is only if you have money
They leave the poor to rot in jail,
Where did freedom for all fail

And now the land of the free,
just want to imprison me
For speaking out, about what I see
They tell you we have freedom of speech
Until you disagree, with what they preach,
and teach
