Beneath The Bitter Load
I saw a rock it was a toad
And it was ‘neath a bitter load
It could not scamper, could not leap
Cause it had diamonds on its’ feet
It did not know to take them off
And daily you could hear it scoff
“Why, I’m a prince!” it’d say to me
“Yes, I’m a god! A King!” you see
Well, truth in that, it may be true
But this what I say to you
Take off that load
And take a leap
Or be a toad.
Who gives a bleep!?
