    BEACHBALL

     The beachball came rolling up like the first star in the sky.

    He wanted her to play with him, I saw the twinkle in her eye.

    She took him home and tossed him around, she thought he was here to stay.

    But the very first time they went to the beach.........he blew away!!

    im guessing this isn't about a beachball. more like a summer fling in the form of a boy. i love poems that make you read it one way, but has hidden meaning. i totally saw the twinkle in the summer boys eye here. then as you brought him back to the beach where he first rolled along..he went off because the beach is his playground! goodjob. 10 if its about a boy. 7 if its just about an actual beach ball. hahaha.
