    AT WHAT POINT?

    I really want to know
At what point thinking about me stops
And thoughts and needs of others come first?

Could it been when I find a friend, lover or spouse?
I know at some point you need others and others need you
But being a lonely ranger could be very fun too

After all, the best things in life requires just you
I mean, to be a success and achieve your dreams,
All you need is a determined you

My confusion here is the fact that no man is an island
And lonely times sometimes creep in
The need to share a burden also boils within

At what point do I then learn to balance and blend
My dreams, love life, family, friends and all the world’s got to offer?
At what point is all I ask, answers! answers! urgently I crave!

Great poem! What a dilemna! Matters of the heart, matter more than anything! Everything you pursue in your life comes from a desire born in your heart. The difficulty stems in discerning a desire of the heart and a desire of the flesh, sometimes they run paralell. Enjoy not having to deal with it while you can! (SMILE)

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
