Poem Commentary

This one I wrote while I was not paying attention in Geometry one day.

Angels

They watch over us,

With wings as glorious as stars.

Guiding, leading, with little to no fuss.

She gaurds his heart,

Keeping away unworthy things,

While he protects his daughter,

From the seen and the unseen.

They've both lost someone dear,

But each one leads the way,

Guiding them closer together,

Where forever they will stay

Few words numerous messages, you have a great foundation for creation - as you study and experience other writers prose and poetry you will grow... as I do at age 47. This piece soars. Keep writing and creating.

wow, this poem is grood too. We kinda have a similar vein running through our poetry. for one, we write good poems whilst bored in math class (Night's thieving cretins was written in trig,,) and I sense some of the same imagrey. please read some more of mine, the old and the new, and see if you agree.

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
