    • hey everyone! check out my new poem "Good Mornings" let me know what you think.. =)

    A "Once Had"

Someone that could have been more than a friend
That friend could have been more than "us"
Even if there were sparkles in our eyes
Venus would still be the brightest in the skies
Every night I look at the sky, thinking of you,
    again all through the night

    Maybe one day again,
    We'll meet and say, "Hi"
    Again with a smile,
    Hope to never say, "Goodbye"

now close your eyes and make a wish
hope that day we'll never miss
see your smile brighten my day
and I hope this time you'll stay.

the poem about the one that got away or is at least, just out of reach. When you wish upon a star anything is possible, especially if you let you heart guide your way. Great poem! Doug

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
