    A Place To Belong

Searching for a place to belong
Trying so hard to fit in
    To be what everyone else
    Wants her to be
    That she loses herself

    Alone at night
    She cries herself to sleep
    Feeling so lost and alone

    Misunderstood
    She slices her skin
    Just to watch it bleed
The pain is the only thing
That reminds her she is alive

    Eyes haunted and desolate
    She walks through life
    Like a ghost long dead
    Invisible
    And forever unnoticed

hauntingly true at times... but I can tell you one thing, you're noticed! Good poem and keep writing them!

It is so difficult to "belong". Most of the time they try to force you to conform to their way, instead of respecting yours. Forces repel, and the fight continues.... Very intersting write. I feel as a ghost also.

You are no longer unnoticed and invisible. Your writng is fierce, honest, and haunting with a common confession of sexual mistrust due to having been ised. Keep hope alive. We live in a world where a few battle scars make beautiful the warrior princess.
