    Resentment and anger.

    To let my hopes and dreams fade away
    You taught me....
    That love isn't always good.
    You taught me.....
    How to be everything I am today,
    So if you hate the person I am
    You have yourself to thank.

    When we let others that we love lead us astray from the way our heart says love should be, then we have has faded already. I hope you find a new direction and a truth that your heart can believe in. Well written my dear.!

    I could have written this to several ex girlfriends. This piece just exudes familiarity and strength...strength only in what we recognize in ourselves, and find perhaps, the strength to make peace with the things that lurk deep within...excellent poem, Blaze.
