A MOTHER'S DAY TRIBUTE
A MOTHER’S DAY TRIBUTE
No matter which life chapter,
With every page I’ve turned,
I find a lesson, verse, or phrase
From my mother I once learned.
She’s probably never realized
She was sowing little seeds
That would grow into my values
From the simplest, smallest deeds.
From the cool cloth on my forehead,
To just knowing she was there,
Emerged the ability within me
To give, to love, to care.
Her Southern grace and charm
Instilled respect and pride,
Sharing laughter through happy times,
And my tears the times I cried.
On each new page of life,
These words I strive to see,
Grace…honor…respect…love
My mother’s legacy.
