    A Dream

The summer seemed to last forever
A dream seized by the fabric of time
A crystal ball, in which my eyes still gaze,
Amazed at how close we were, a love at its prime

Your voice flows within me still
My hope, an elegant stake, piercing my heart
The last petal of a flower trying to hold, until,
Cursing the flow of time, it falls apart

Awakening, your image burning in my eyes
Your touch, teasing my hand, haunting my skin
Reality calls, four years of my life pass by..
Now I must wait one day’s time, to see your face again

More hearts and souls than none both old and young have felt this... Great collection of emotion

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
