A Dozzen Roses
Back when I was a younger girl,Always the looker
Every boys dream,
Isn't life cruel,
With the cruve balls it throws.
Funny how time passes
Passes us by so fast,
With no time to slow down
And smell the roses,
You just gotta take the blows
One by one as they come.
Two fifths later and a dozzen roses,
I lay silent forever
Never thought this would be the road
That led me home.
A broken hearted woman
Driven to fast down that
Twisty windy road,
Truned my lights out fast.
I was lookin down on myself
Lying in the road,
I heard my momma crying
Screaming oh God please dont take her,
When I was a younger girl
Always the looker
And every boys dream,
Now i'm just gone.
Two fifths later and a dozzen roses
Ends a broken hearted womans pain,
She just could walk away,
and as she closed her eyes
Everyone heard her say these words
Two fiths later and a dozzen roses,
He walked out on me.
