    A bed of broken dreams
    I lay upon a bed of broken dreams-
    with no reason to awaken...
    sleep does not find me.

    I soar upon the wind of empty promises-
    with no clouds on which to land...
    freedom has its bounds.

    I swim in a river of forgotten memories-
    with no current to carry me...
    I am still.

    I walk into a forest of lonely moments-
    with no trees on which to lean...
    and I am tired.
