Your Worth

He saw you when you still couldn't see,
and let you feel the joy in Him.
He got all your deepest mystery,
and set all your needs from within.

Your eyes were opened with a loud first cry,
and light touched your senses for the very first time.
He smiled and welcomed you from up high,
then whispered to your soul like a chime.

The journey continues and you wandered through time.
A will that was given to you is always your prime.
How much His love for you is like a line
whose end is for no one to identify and define.

How much are ye? no one knows but He.
Priceless it seems that he gave His life to thee.
Your worth is more than what you think or imagine.
Continuously He speaks for this to be seen.

All Things He used, maybe even this poem.
To share to you the greatness of His precious omen.
That you are His, and you He designed.
Your worth is in His hands, all the best is in line.

Thank You! I already knew, but thanks for reminding me how GOD works in ways we don't even realize!

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
