    Young Love

I see you in my dreams, I wake before the peak.
We get along so well together because it's truth that we both seek.
When I think about your smile, I can't help but crack one, too.
Don't worry about the distance now 'cause, boy, it's only you.
I bet your feet are tired from running through my mind.
Look past my cheesy words, boy, and it's my heart that you will find.
If I had a penny for every second you're in my head,
I could fly around the world, but I'd rather be in your bed.
Wrapped in my arms is where you should be.
There's nothing I want more than to feel you next to me.
You're the spring in my step, the smile in my eyes.
You're the gorgeous sunsets in my evening skies.
Just know this, that I'll be there soon.
Then together we'll lay as we gaze at the moon.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
