    you dont matter

You say your there but you know your not

You say you care but you dont show it by a long shot

you say meaningful words and try to stop my pain

But i think when you say them you say them in vain

i want it all to be over and end but he'll say hello and it starts over again

i wish you were really there i wish you really cared

but then i remeber all the pain that you caused

and all the nights i couldnt sleep

all the nights i hurt myself

but know i see i dont need you here

i have self respect and thats all that really matters

I like this a lot. We should not allow space in our lives for people who do not treasure and care for us. Self respect is a wonderful thing because it cuts down on the amount of nonsense you allow into your life. Great write.........E

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
