    Luke Balint

im tired of being alone and not listened to. i call out but you ignore every shout. i scream for you and you stop for a split second... Maybe youll come back (i thought) i was wrong. you started walking away, you turn the corner and your gone. i fall to the ground and cry my heart out. theres an empty feeling in my chest. you stole my heart and walked away with it. The pain increases and i cant be here anymore. i stand up and run.. run away from everything. the pain... you... problems... jealousy... lonelyness... i knew it would all find me later but i had to get away. i couldnt cope with it all. not right now. i stop and look up its raining now. the suns gone. its replaced by thick black clouds and thunder. i fall again, wrap my arms around myself, and scream. i scream till i cant anymore. my tears falling faster and faster. the pressure in my chest is unbareable now. i hear foot steps... i thought i was alone. they kneel down beside me and say my name. i dont move. he pulls my face up so i have to look him in the eyes. he knows im broken and trys to make me understand its for the best but i look back down and shake my head in disagrement. he hugs me. hugs away the pain for awhile and helps the sun shine through...

this is my most favorite of everything i have written

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.

Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) Greek philosopher.
