  • is sorry for not being on more. once i get settled in my new house i should have more time.

you and me

I try to be your friend and,
  You go to a tramp.
I would fight for you,
You never thought to enter the ring
I was there for you when you needed me,
You don't care if I stay or go.
When I needed you the most,
You turned your back on me.
I gave you my heart,
And you stabbed right through it.
I gave you every part of me,
You tell me you don't love me.
You mean everything to me,
And I, well I seem to mean nothing to you.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
