    LOVE SHOWN FROM UP ABOVE

GRACE GIVEN IN THE FORM OF A DOVE

EACH DAYS BATTLE IS ALREADY WON

LIFE GIVEN BY HIS ONLY SON

WE BOW DOWN AND CRY OUT IN VAIN

KNOWING NOT WAS HIS SUFFERING PAIN

WHISPERED PRAYERS GIVEN UP TO THEE

I KNOW NOW HIS LIFE GIVEN FOR ME

WE COMPLAIN ABOUT OUR TRIALS IN LIFE

HIS LIFE SOUGHT TO END THE STRIFE

SOME TROUBLES COME IN OUR TIMES

HIS HONOR TAKEN BY THE THORNED VINES

MANY TIMES WE STRUGGLE AND FUSS

HE SUFFERED 40 DAYS JUST FOR US

TEMPTED BY TRIALS BUT NEVER A SIN

HUNG FROM A CROSS BATTLES TO WIN

HIS SIDE PUNTURED BY SOLDIERS SPEAR

YET WE GIVE UP BECAUSE OF FEAR

HES THE ONE WHO DID IT ALL

TO BE THE CUSHION FOR WHEN WE FALL

    YET WE COMPLAIN
