And a word from the Lord came to me
That when I speak his word I attain victory
And every time I speak the word to a situation
I wound the dragon…..God’s enemy!

God has told me this
and behind his word he will stand
That speaking his word
in this earthly life
Is a divine weapon to be used by man!
So I will repeat the words God has said
Thus causing pain to the devil’s head.

God’s Word, in Christ,
has been revealed
That Jesus is the way
to be holy and healed
So I will speak it out
with authority
And I will wound the dragon with my sword
By speaking the words of Jesus…my Lord!

The devil hates God
and all mankind
And God’s Word is the most
effective weapon you’ll find
The devil will try to deceive you
And try to get you to doubt
and not believe it’s true
He will try to make all circumstances grim
All trouble, from the beginning, was caused by him.

But God has given us His weapon to use
We can wound him with the Word and he is sure to lose
Because we serve JESUS, the righteous God sent one
We need to imitate Jesus and talk like God’s Son.
And when the Word of God is boldly declared
The dragon is wounded, his strength impaired
The Rhema from God is our spiritual sword
AND WE CAN WOUND THE DRAGON BECAUSE JESUS IS OUR LORD!
