Don’t cry about your past mistakes
Repent, don’t grieve over your past sin.
For God always gives his children new beginnings
He will let you begin again!

God loves you so much
He has so much beauty and riches to share
Just come to him and bare your heart
For he is always listening to your prayers!

The world, for the most part, does not understand
That God is so forgiving and kind
And when a person belongs to Jesus
He can leave his sinful nature behind!

And even when we miss the mark
God can forgive us for our mistakes
And give us a new beginning
And new plans with him we can make.

For God is as old as the beginning
But as modern as the new is new
And trust him and his word and love
He will make a new beginning for you!
