    Witness

It feels like your thousands of lengths away from me

closing my eyes and visualizing your face

I can taste you in my memory

See you in my thoughts and can hear you in my mind you are who makes my aura smile

if only just only you'd come and stay a while; if I could be in your company

yearning to be closer to thee

I wanna talk with you; walk with you for miles and miles

so we can convo about our trails and tribulations we endure

I must have something reformed because there is no cure

I wanna lay with you spend all day with you no matta what always stay with you

Cause your scent is imprinted in my heart

you were the man of my dreams from the start

Seems like it took forever to find you

    that gentleness; that subtleness

    the things we do

See you in my past loving you in my present and feeling you in my future

our thunderstorms; and hurricanes still our hearts will suture.

Prolonging a polished embrace; soaking in smells; melting into you

hmmmm you have dominance over me

a small gesture lets me know where I need to be.

    Waiting on love for hours

    disputing for minutes

    apologizing for seconds

    remaining “us” for years

    unique well done

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
