Biography
I have been writing since i was little, but did not get really serious about it till in my teens. I have been published in several anthologies, The International Who's Who in Poetry and The Best Poems and Poets. I am working on my own book of poetry called "Emotions" and hope to get it into print in 2009.
A lot of my poetry deals with death. This is because I have a terminal disease and have been preparing myself for the inevitable and because I have lost a good many friends in the past few years including my parents. My father was my rock and I lost him this past May. I also have suffered other losses like my home and my belongings and my pets due to my ever changing circumstances.
My illness is in the brain and I am trying to get my poetry out there to help others who are in similar circumstances and have similar illnesses like Alzheimers that sap your resourses and your memories. My illness has a time limit of 10 years and I am trying to beat that deadline with as many poems as I am able to write on the good days I have. I have about 5 years left, but don't count me out as I still have too much to say.
