Window pane
Upon dwelling the hinges off
And laces tied,
My dulled afterthoughts
Ask ‘why?’
Seek retribution
And possibly nothing more
Than one genuine
Smile or eyes.
Plucking apart
Apartheid
Only once every other minute.
Not to fret,
Because I am partial
To peanut butter.
The cat, black,
Goes by Marley
And is just
Fine to have
This roof and
Love.
I’m trying to
Stretch out
Again
And hope not
To snap
Tissue
Or
Aggravate my
Interlocked fibers
With
Interspersed
Cons
Of
Next time.
And laces tied,
My dulled afterthoughts
Ask ‘why?’
Seek retribution
And possibly nothing more
Than one genuine
Smile or eyes.
Plucking apart
Apartheid
Only once every other minute.
Not to fret,
Because I am partial
To peanut butter.
The cat, black,
Goes by Marley
And is just
Fine to have
This roof and
Love.
I’m trying to
Stretch out
Again
And hope not
To snap
Tissue
Or
Aggravate my
Interlocked fibers
With
Interspersed
Cons
Of
Next time.
