    Will This Once Upon A Time

     Will this once upon a time have a happily ever after?
    Is it fair to chase dreams that run alot faster?
    Is life just a book and we are living out it's pages?
    Or a dream in God's head as she sleeps through the ages,
    Is time just an illusion?
    Are we living with a purpose?
    Swimming in a sea of lies, will we ever reach the surface?
    Do we have a future?
    Will we really make it there?
    Whats the truth behind life?
    Can our minds take us there?
    So can you wrap your mind around that?
    Shake the fake why cant you face fact?
    You want to know answers but your afraid to ask,
    The world keeps sprinning life goes by fast,
    But you turn the other way and play your part,
    You let the lies and the pain tear at your heart,
    Saying your prayers in bed and sing you lullabies,
    You lay down your head and close your eyes,
    At peace while you sleep but it always starts again,
    No answers to your questions and the search begins....

    This is the most original piece I've read in a long time. Your use of common associations most,,,well I can speak only for myself, associations that I myself feel at home with. The questioning, the hope...so beautiful. You know its good when every line speaks to you.
