Wickedly Sweet
Feet dragging in the leaves
I am just a passerby
Everyday
Passing by her fortress
Cold salutations
A sinister smile beyond that smirk
Hooked
She pierced me
Paralyzed within my own thoughts
Rough around the edges
She is her own gatekeeper
Knock knock
No reply
She has built her own confinement
Self-Imprisonment masked by pseudo arrogance
Her words dipped in a counterfeit coolness
Doused in the harsh actualities
And dressed in a downbeat of disregard
Can’t come to my fortress
No one allowed inside
Solid
But beyond her words
Listen
She speaks miles with her eyes
Softly whispering
Within every indifferent cold vocalization
Please Listen
You will hear the underlying whisper that permeates those eyes
It’s hell on earth inside here
Seared skin
Got the scars to prove it
Can’t see ‘em
But they’re there
She says
You are heard
You may repulse others with your wicked
But i can't help but descry your sweet
I see purity inside those dark, dark eyes
Caught in her self-incarceration
I want to show her
Liberation
Take her by the hand
Hold it under the water
Watch the blood wash away
Clarity
Calming the provocation that she lets ferment in her heart
I am just a passerby
Everyday
Passing by her fortress
Cold salutations
A sinister smile beyond that smirk
Hooked
She pierced me
Paralyzed within my own thoughts
Rough around the edges
She is her own gatekeeper
Knock knock
