    Whispers in a Dream

    Where are you my flame,
    my starreed night,
    my hope.
    The calling in my blood,
    the answer in prayer,
    my only.
    Whispers on my skin,
    sound of my heart,
I hear the memory in my dreams.
    Where are you my light,
    my soft dawn,
    my savior.
    the sweet longing of years,
    the understanding in kiss,
    my last.
    Waiting in silence,
    Here I stay,
    Here always.

Ah nice use of repetitive lines. Like a constant yearning, longing. Soft and subtle poem. Seemingly sung out of a window.......for some reason that picture comes to mind. Good emotional wording.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
