Whispering In The Wind

Whispering In The Wind

My mind slowly racing, my feet are
steadily pacing.
look into my eyes the windows to my soul
looking into your all I can see is darkness
and the cold.
I tried to say goodbye and I have tried to run
away, but every time I tried to leave some thing
made me stay.
I've woken countless less nights in a pool of my
own tears, screaming crying out in the depth of my
own fears.
Taking a needle and thread to my heart fixing what
you break, trying to fight the pain of sewn together heart-ache.
I'm dreaming of a better life where your love is okay, and hope that you'll hold me and I'll be your better day.

But as I stand here whispering in the wind , praying that
someone will hear and heal the the heart I try to mend.
