Where Do I Go?
How is it really possibleFor a heart to be torn in two?
Not certain which way to turn,
Or what it is it should do.
As the sky turns from blue
To a cold, grey steel,
I sit here and wonder
What it is I realy feel.
As the dark clouds roll in
And settle upon the mountain tops,
I wonder where it is I should go
And if these feelings will ever stop?
I sit in my window
And look to the world below.
What I see out there is a difference
That makes my heart need to know.
One place has life abundant,
With fields dotting the land.
Streams and rivers rolling through
Mountain ranges so grand.
The other one has forests so green
And oceans extremely vast and blue.
Sunsets that could make you cry,
With colors of every possible hue.
They both show Mother Nature
In all her glorious beauty.
Land so rich and full
Put here for you and me.
With all this to think about,
The question still remains;
Do I stay in Montana,
Or go back home to Maine?
