When memories are monochrome
When everything is faded
and memories are monochrome,
all that's left to do
is caring for what's gone.
and memories are monochrome,
all that's left to do
is caring for what's gone.
They once adored to forget:
the past they buried beneath the snow.
But when the future seemed not to set
they had nowhere to go.
Not even with eyes closed
could they feel the minutes gone by
and when the truth of the wasted years was exposed
no lace of life they couldn't untie.
the past they buried beneath the snow.
But when the future seemed not to set
they had nowhere to go.
Not even with eyes closed
could they feel the minutes gone by
and when the truth of the wasted years was exposed
no lace of life they couldn't untie.
