when i raise my voice

when i raise my voice

when i raise my voice,
to the heavens and cry,
its to sing the sufferings of the earth,
i sing for children with no parents,
i sing for loves misen.

those who know misery,
preach love and friendship,
i sing so that tomorrow can be better,
i cry so that tomorrow will be best.

IT COMES STRAIGHT FROM THE HEART.THE MISERIES OF THIS WORLD SHOULD NOT LEAVE US UNTOUCHED

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
