What you've done
I wonder if I ever cross your mind
late at night when you're all alone,
safe between those cotton sheets.
Do you ever find yourself
getting sick to your stomache
because just for a moment the smell of me fills the air.
Does the pain I've caused you
make your skin crawl everytime
you think you're over it.
Will playing "house" ever make you pray
that you are somewhere else
instead of with me.
Did telling you "I love you"
make it easier for you to lie to everyone
including yourself.
Is what we did ever make you question
if it was wrong
or if was love.
I wonder if you ever wake up
in a cold sweat, breathing hard, screaming,
hoping it was all a bad dream.
I wonder if you know that this
is what you've done to me
and this is what I live with.
late at night when you're all alone,
safe between those cotton sheets.
Do you ever find yourself
getting sick to your stomache
because just for a moment the smell of me fills the air.
Does the pain I've caused you
make your skin crawl everytime
you think you're over it.
Will playing "house" ever make you pray
that you are somewhere else
instead of with me.
Did telling you "I love you"
make it easier for you to lie to everyone
including yourself.
Is what we did ever make you question
if it was wrong
or if was love.
I wonder if you ever wake up
in a cold sweat, breathing hard, screaming,
hoping it was all a bad dream.
I wonder if you know that this
is what you've done to me
and this is what I live with.
