What is it

What is it

U think i complain, am never satisfied
its not that im just a little mystified
cause were to strangers passing in the night.

last night i begged u to hold me
u did but soon turned away
then this morning u put your daughter where i longed to lay
you arose and walked away
and when u came back u got ur kids and never though of me

i may complain, but its because i feel so empty
not quite a part of this family
u got what ur wanted now ur happy
but for me nothings changed
still standing outside looking in

im a woman, body filled with desire
if not for a touch, just a little love, im not asking for too much
instead i lie here, not sure which way to go
for to walk away would mean losing you
and yet to stay means i'll lose me.

Tracy the choice is easy but only you can make it you know what's best

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.
