    What Are You?

    What are you?

You're a soldier with no courage
    You're a male but not a man
You're a human with less humane
    You're a nurse without passion
    You're a classmate, but not a friend
You belong to an empty chest
Where I've locked you in and kept you there
    For eons!!!

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
