Waiting

Waiting

While the world sleeps, and is silent in their beds. I am awake in a cloud, in a fog.
I think of times past, and time gone, and of all the things left undone.
I pray to find peace, and quiet in my mind.
I pray to find an answer to a question unsaid.
I hope for a time when life will be easy, and times will be good.
Some how I still find myself lost, and undone... wondering, and alone.
When will I find the answer?
When will my dream become reality?
Until all is right...
I will hold on, and wait for the night to be over.
I know that joy comes in the morning, so until then... I'll wait.

Nice, felt like it came from the heart. How long have you been writing?

Not long, just somthing I do to "destress" so to speak. I've been doing it about 2 years though. Thanks for the comment! =)

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.

Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) Greek philosopher.
